I was awoken approximately 3:00 am by the AUDIBLE voice of the Lord. I heard Him say: “I am moving The Church from a place of hibernation to acceleration.”
My first thought was that a bear comes out of hibernation in the spring and is very hungry. And in the same way, the Lord is about to release a supernatural fresh hunger for His presence throughout the body of Christ and in doing so, the mandate of the Global Church will be accelerated.
Exactly what this will look like?
1. Acceleration requires power, and we will see God’s power manifested in a stronger manner over this season.
2. In times of war we stick closely to the trenches and occupy the land that has been taken, however in times of a lessening of the enemy’s fire power we move forward rapidly. The Church is entering a season of moving ahead taking ground for the Kingdom of God.
3. I believe this is a word for the corporate body, and also for individuals to move forward in faith and embrace those callings and dreams he has set before them.
When a bear comes out of hibernation they normally have cubs. A bear cub needs two years of training before it leaves the mother. I believe we will see a large number of young Christian cubs coming forth over the next two years. The need for Fathering and Mothering will increase, and a time of training and discipleship is on us once again for the “cubs”
Hibernation is a good thing in the natural, and it is a good thing in the spiritual. It is about seasons - seasons to rest and seasons to move forward. The natural things will speak of the supernatural things.
